The Misinformation Bubble Game
A game about suppressing misinformation and scams, and the futility therein.
With the rise of the internet, bubbles have formed as a result of the spread of both real and fake information online. To these bubbles, you are the needle that pops them. Your job, as a moderator of the experimental Bubble email client, is to flag users’ emails as legitimate, scams, or misinformation, before these information bubbles spiral out of control.
Controls:
Double-click the app icon to open the in-game app and press start on the landing page to start the game.
Double-click bubbles in the topic hub to open up the list of emails in that topic, and select an item in the list to open up the associated email. Windows can be moved around and resized as needed.
In order to perform your job, read the email and click the correct button as you see fit. Marking an email as a scam or misinformation takes time, so sit tight and read some other emails in the meantime.
